Q. How will my package appear upon delivery?
A. All items ship in plain yellow bubble mailer with “WIM Scientific Laboratories” as the return address. There will be absolutely no way to tell what the box contains without opening it.
Q. How will my order appear on my credit card statement?
A. All orders bill as “WIM Scientific Laboratories” on your credit card, debit card or paypal statement.
Q. What shipping companies do you use?
A. We use UPS for all deliveries involving test kits. Any shipments that do not include test kits will ship via USPS.
Q. Why is shipping one kit so expensive?
A. The kits weigh less than 1/3 of a pound – but the UPS minimum is one pound. You can ship three kits for nearly the same price as one. Larger packages are even more reasonable.
Q. Do you ship to P.O. boxes?
A. Only shipments that do not include test kits will ship to P.O. boxes.
Q. Do you ship to dorm rooms?
A. Only shipments that do not include test kits will ship to dorm rooms with box numbers.
Q. Where can I pick up my package if I can’t have it shipped to my dorm room or P.O. box?
A. We can ship all of our products to UPS stores or distribution centers. In order to do so, put your normal address in the address space when ordering – in the notes section, please state the address of the UPS store or distribution center you would like it sent to. All UPS locations will ask for an I.D. and some UPS stores charge a $5 fee for pickup.
Q. How long will it take to receive my order?
A. Orders may take as long as 7 business days domestically – however this is very rare. Around 95% arrive within 3-5 business days (Saturday is not a business day.) Holidays and severe weather may cause delays.
Q. Can I make a payment anonymously?
A. Yes, you can send a blank money order. See below.
Q. Do you accept money orders?
A. Yes. Go through the checkout process on our website until your shipping has calculated and then end the transaction – noting the final amount. Send a blank money order for that amount (including calculated shipping) to WIM Scientific Laboratories; PO Box 3471 Pearland, TX 77588. Please include a note stating the address you wish to have the package delivered to and the items you are paying for. If you send the incorrect amount, we will not ship the package and will return the money order to the return address immediately. We cannot be responsible for money orders lost travelling either to or from our location (this has not happened to date.) This process takes longer than an online order. Please be patient.
Q. Parts of my order arrived damaged. What can I do?
A. In the rare event of poor quality, damaged or defective material, please send pictures of the damaged items to info[at]wimscilabs.com within two (2) business days of receiving your order. We stand by our products and will send a replacement in most cases.
Q. I want to return some or all of my order. What is the return policy?
A. Due to the nature of our products, returns are not accepted.
Q. I want to exchange some or all of my order. What is the exchange policy?
A. Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept exchanges.
Q. Do you ship internationally?
